Global Voyages Indonesia Hosts Clean Up Event at Ungapan Beach

Malang, Indonesia – (30/04/2023) – Global Voyages Indonesia showed their care for the environment and promoted beach tourism in Malang by organizing a beach clean-up event at Ungapan Beach. The Clean Up the Beach and Fun Camping event involved 40 volunteers from Indonesian and international students.

The Clean Up the Beach and Fun Camping event lasted for two days and one night. On the first day, participants received education on waste management and salt field development at Ungapan Beach. The volunteers also had the opportunity to observe and try the salt production process firsthand. This was also a way to introduce and promote MSMEs at Ungapan Beach.

The next day, the volunteers began the beach clean-up activity, cleaning the beach from one end to the other. "In the morning, we started our activity by cleaning the beach from end to end, which is a form of environmental care through this great action," said Inan, one of the Global Voyages Indonesia volunteers.

This beach clean-up action attracted the attention of visitors and the local community. The purpose of the Clean Up the Beach event is to set an example for the community to take action in caring for the environment. The Global Voyages team hopes that the Clean Up the Beach and Fun Camping event can create a clean beach environment to ensure the comfort of beach visitors.
